Norris Centers Austin- Remodeling Update

Our new Austin facility is on track for opening in June, 2008.

Our final floorplans have been approved and permits are in. Within the next few business days, the hammers will begin swinging as we build-out our new facility, right next to where we have been serving our clients for over six years.

The new facility will offer the same great service including our excellent catering and state of the art audio visual equipment along with some great upgrades. We will now feature a 4,800 sq. ft., column free Red Oak Ballroom for larger meetings and social events.

As the rooms take shape, we will be extending an invitation to come by for a fun “hard hat” tour to get an “insiders” view of our new space.

Norris Expansion Plans for 2008

Adding to our successes in Austin, Houston and San Antonio – Norris will be adding a conference center in downtown Fort Worth in the fall of 2008.

Norris Conference Centers - Fort Worth will feature eleven meeting rooms and will be located in beautiful Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. In addition to offering executive level meeting space, NCC-Fort Worth will also feature 3,000 sq. ft. and 5,000 sq. ft. Red Oak Ballrooms for social events similar to our ballrooms in San Antonio and Austin.

At CityCentre Houston, we will be opening our full service conference center, which will be connected to a full service hotel. CityCentre is a new 37-acre multi-use development located at the intersection of IH10 and west Sam Houston Tollway.  This project is scheduled for a late 2008 opening.

Dave Norris expressed his excitement when asked about their 2008 expansion plans, "We have been diligently working on finding the perfect locations for expanding our business and are thrilled with the locations we have selected to expand into."

Houston, TX – February 2007 – Norris Training Systems, Inc., which operates in Texas as Norris Conference Centers and Red Oak Ballroom announced another year of double digit growth driven by an increase in customer base of over 40%.

Dave Norris, President of Norris Conference Centers, when asked about their newest location in Sundance Square, said, “we are very excited about entering in to the Fort Worth market as we continue our expansion strategy in Texas.”

Opening September 1, 2008

Mr. Norris stated that, “similar to our other venues, our Fort Worth conference center will be designed to support the local “day meeting” business and provide supplemental support space for conventions coming into Fort Worth’s Convention Center and other facilities in the downtown area."

The current design includes six executive meeting rooms, featuring floor to deck soundproofed walls, individual thermostat controls and additional features to support corporate training, sales meetings and other the like. One room will remain as a theatre seating to support corporate meetings and press conferences. Norris Conference Centers – Fort Worth will be capable of hosting groups ranging in size from as few as 2-4 participants up to 300+ participants. Norris will rely on in local catering, audio/visual and other hospitality related vendors to support their location.
